What began as a tiny office in Chicago in 1991 has grown to over 100 offices worldwide. In the summer 2004, our first international location opened in Singapore. Many of our first dates lead to 2nd dates and our matchmaking is responsible for thousands of marriages. We have arranged over 2 million fun first dates in our 19 years.

A Chicago woman founded It’s Just Lunch 19 years ago after her engagement was suddenly called off. She attended her first IJL wedding after the company had been in business for just 5 months. Since then, The IJL Team has been responsible for many weddings and she still gets goose bumps when she hears about another engagement!

Our popularity has grown steadily because we offer our clients a great opportunity to meet other like-minded professionals they otherwise would not have met on their own. We arrange hundreds of dates for clients each month!
